Melissa Jackson is the Hillsborough County Field Representative and Caseworker for the Office of Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL, District 16). Melissa serves as the Congressman’s community representative for issues and programs within Hillsborough
County and handles constituent case work in the matters of Immigration, USDA and EPA. As the proud daughter of a World War II veteran and a former elementary school teacher, Melissa is very happy to speak about the Library of Congress Veteran History
Project.

Library Of Congress Veterans History Project

The Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress collects, preserves and makes accessible the firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans who served from World War I through more recent conflicts and peacekeeping missions, so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand what they saw, did and felt during their service.
